Expert Second Opinion

This service includes 75 minutes of dedicated physician review and personalized recommendations designed to help you better understand your condition and evaluate your options before making important healthcare decisions.
General Nephrology Education
Have questions about kidney health? This 60-minute educational session provides an opportunity to learn directly from a board-certified nephrologist.
Topics may include kidney disease prevention, nutrition, medications, laboratory testing, and general kidney health concerns. This service is educational in nature and does not include review of personal medical records or individualized treatment recommendations.

WHAT'S INCLUDED
Comprehensive Support Beyond Office Visits
When clinically appropriate, Dr. Amaka will prescribe medications, order laboratory testing, review imaging studies, and communicate directly with members of your healthcare team to support coordinated care.
While BOLD Direct Nephrology Care does not bill insurance for patient visits, insurance may cover laboratory testing, imaging, and prescription costs. Depending on your individual plan, Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) may be used for eligible visit expenses.
Medical services are available to patients located in Georgia through virtual and in-person visits. Educational consultations are available to all individuals regardless of geographic location.
